Olivia Holleman
Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Olivia grew up surrounded by coastal ecologies, climbing oak trees and developing an early connection to the natural world. This connection deepened when she headed to Clemson University to study landscape architecture with minors in sociology and sustainability. Being near the Appalachian Mountains opened her eyes to a different kind of beauty—one that would eventually pull her westward.
During her time at Clemson, she interned at a landscape architecture firm and worked at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens. A study abroad semester in Genoa, Italy gave her an appreciation for diverse ecologies and cultures as she explored different corners of Europe. She graduated with her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in December 2025, with a clear passion for design that is functional, ecologically minded, and meaningful to the people who experience it.
Multiple trips out west sealed the deal—she fell in love with the mountains and wide-open spaces. That love ultimately brought her across the country to Bozeman, where she's now starting her career as a landscape designer at Field Studio. She's excited to learn everything she can about Montana's ecologies and to contribute to work focused on ecological design and restoration.
When she's not in the office, you'll find her outside—traveling, rock climbing, or skiing. And when she needs to recharge indoors, she's usually doing yoga, thrifting, crocheting, reading, or tending to her growing collection of house plants.
